Most of you know the fire department is and has been a very important part of my life. I’ve been a volunteer firefighter in Ocean City, Maryland for the past 17 years and I’ve been a career fire investigator in Worcester County, Marylandfor almost a decade. The second week of October is always fire prevention week and this year I spent some time with the Ocean City Fire Department at the Ocean City Elementary School spreading the fire prevention message. This years theme is “Smoke Alarms: A Sound You Can Live With!” Enjoy.
