I met up with Angela and Fred at the Delaware Art Museum for their engagement photos on an gorgeous fall afternoon in Wilmington, Delaware. The Delaware Art Museum is best known for its large collection of British Pre-Raphaelite art, works by Wilmington-native Howard Pyle and fellow American illustrators, and urban landscapes by John Sloan and his circle. Did I mention there was a labyrinth? From there we drove over to this little gem of a location otherwise known as theĀ Gibraltar Mansion. I could have shot at this location for hours. The Gibraltar Mansion has a significant history but is most known for the stunning formal gardens created by Marian Cruger Coffin. Coffin was one of the nation’s first and most accomplished female landscape architects in the U.S. We wrapped it all up at the picturesque Brandywine Park that runs along either side of the Brandywine River. Congrats to you both!
