You may remember Angela and Freddy from their engagement session at the Delaware Art Museum. You know where I got to hang out with them in a labyrinth. Well wouldn’t you know it their wedding at Bellevue Hall Mansion in Wilmington, Delaware would be nothing less than amazing as well. Angela slipped into her dress at Bellevue Hall while Freddy got his swag on at his parent’s house just down the street. The couple met before the ceremony for a “first look” at the Nemours Mansion and Gardens which is owned by the du Pont family. As soon as we got out of the car at Nemours Mansion and Gardens my jaw dropped, I was like David after the dentist, “is this real life?” Ok no really I was like a kid in a candy shop with a kicker, I only had 15 minutes to put as much candy in my bag as I could. So Angela, Fred and I ran around the gardens snapping some fabulous photos before we headed back over to the Bellevue Hall Mansion where they said their I do’s, had their cake and ate it too and danced the night away. My other love about this couple was their choice of beer selection…. Talk about the way to my heart with a few cold Smithwicks at the bar. So something you might not know about this fab couple was their wedding rings. Angela took her late fathers wedding ring while Freddy took his late grandfathers wedding ring. They both had them re-engraved with their initials and wedding date. The wedding photo booth was a sure hit of the evening pulling a record number (over 250) photos from the guests. Topping the evening off surely had to be when one of Angela’s friends got the crowd on their feet and brought it back to the old school with a rendition of “Shoop” from Salt N Peppa.
