I’ve known Latda since I was fifteen. We were classmates at Stephen Decatur High School. Like most everyone after graduation we went in our own directions, started our own lives, fostered new relationships and then became reunited on Facebook. Meet Anthony, he was a new teacher in the Baltimore area and moved into Latda’s apartment building. It wasn’t long before they ran into each other and well from what it sounds like, he swept her off her feet. When it was time to pop the big question, Anthony made Latda a book on iPhoto that spelled out “Will You Marry Me” all on separate pages. I met Latda, Anthony and their adorable dog Buddha at that same apartment building recently to take their engagement photos. Some of the special places we visited were the Washington Monument and Mount Vernon Park as well as Federal Hill Park which overlooks the Inner Harbor. I always get excited during engagement sessions to hear about the details my clients have been working on in preparation for their upcoming wedding. In this case I should probably say details for their upcoming wedding(s). Latda and Anthony are planning two separate ceremonies, a traditional American ceremony and one to celebrate Latda’s Thai heritage. Both weddings will be at the Delaware beaches on back to back weekends this fall. In the meantime, enjoy these accounts of our day running around Baltimore and this perfect couple.
