So let me tell you about the wedding of Rachel and Nathan who recently got hitched in Ocean City, Maryland. You might remember their engagement session at Pemberton Park in Salisbury last fall. Both Rachel and Nathan got ready at the Howard Johnson hotel on the boardwalk before heading out on the beach to do a “first look”. It was touch and go for a while figuring out if the rain was going to put a kink in our outdoor photo opportunities. We took a chance and worked quickly to capture all of the family and bridal party photos on the beach before the rain buckets started coming down. I even stumbled upon one of my grooms mom’s who owns Dandy Don’s bike rental shop on the boardwalk that let Rachel and Nate pose in one of their pedal boardwalk cars. From there it was hop in the limo time and head over to Temple Bat Yam in Berlin for the ceremony. It was a special time for Rachel, Nathan and their family as they signed a colorful “four seasons” Ketubah. The ceremony was very intimate as everyone gathered under the Chuppah and said their “I do’s”. It was a quick drive back into Ocean City for a reception planned at Harrison’s Harborwatch Restaurant which overlooks the Ocean City inlet. My favorite of the many amazing details was a colorful fingerprint signature board. The board had caricature figures of both Rachel and Nathan holding the strings on a bunch of balloons as their guests placed a fingerprint in multiple colors as the balloons.
