I am excited to share this recent military wedding held in Leesburg, Virginia. From the moment I met Shellie and Connor I knew their wedding in historic Leesburg, Virginia was going to be special. A ceremony was held at Saint John the Apostle Roman Catholic church, specifically the “little church” or Chapel of the Immaculate Conception which was the most adorable and understandably named “little” church. It was the perfect location for their military wedding. Shellie serves in the Navy while Connor is in the Marines. Along with a beautiful wedding service, the officiant shared stories of the couple and how they met while attending Virginia Tech, they were both looking for the chapel on campus. Following the ceremony and traditional sword ceremony exit, the couple rented a 1946 tuxedo black Chevrolet Fleetmaster which we took downtown for a few candid shots. Leesburg is hands down the cutest little town in northern Virginia and made for an amazing backdrop for wedding photos. Their reception was held at the Vineyards and Winery at Lost Creek. Lost Creek Winery was a gorgeous wedding reception location. We spent a few minutes with the bridal party and the Fleetmaster in the vineyards before heading to the Harvest House for the formalities. It was an absolute pleasure to celebrate with this couple and above all, thank you both for your service in the Navy and Marines!
