I’m always excited to attend weddings abroad so I was more than delighted when Elizabeth and James asked me to be a guest at their destination wedding in Glin, Ireland. The wedding was attended by 30 of their closest friends and family and was held at the Glin Castle in County Limerick situated along the River Shannon. Elizabeth’s mom Carolyn should be applauded for all of her hard work in planning this affair, I don’t think this wedding would have been such a success without her. There was certainly no small detail left unattended, from a horse and carriage ride to the ceremony which was led by a local bagpiper to a soloist and string quartet at the ceremony to an appearance by the Knight of Glin at dinner, traditional irish dancers and a three piece band during the reception and fireworks to end the evening on a high note. Many kudos to the family for an amazing affair and thanks for allowing me to share a few of my photos from it, enjoy!
